Job description: We’re looking for a Front-end developer who will be responsible for building the interface of client-facing web applications. This person should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and multitasking skills, the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated experience with Front-end technologies. Responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain efficient, clean, and scalable front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Build and maintain design component libraries from concepts that align with the lifecycle of a design project.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Dry coding practices with an emphasis on re-usability
Deliver beautifully polished work
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Required skills:

Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Experience with git or other version control
In-depth understanding of the Front-end development lifecycle (design, development, and deployment) and experience working with agile design teams
Basic understanding of how to use the terminal
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to deliver visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience with UX design software ex: Sketch, Figma
Experience translating design-sourced files to functional web applications
Knowledge of SEO principles
Ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and project needs

Additional skills (these are worth extra credit):

UX Design experience
Familiarity with Shopify and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Experience working on financial platforms
Critical eye for design implementation
Work well with little direction, but know when to ask for help and keep the team informed
Experience working with remote teams
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback

Related education or experience:

Front-end web development: 1 year (Preferred)
