Your role, joys, and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Communication Specialist to produce audience-focused high-quality work that reflects the Amp X brand

• Tell compelling stories by creating print and digital deliverables such as infographics, icons, illustrations, leaflets, merchandise, etc..

• Communicate complex concepts in the form of presentations, papers, booklets, and websites

• Design visual assets for multiple channels such as web, mobile apps, social media, etc 

• Participate in design reviews to give and receive feedback on current work and explorations

• Utilize and update existing product design systems and brand guidelines

• Document design guidelines and actively share knowledge on how to utilize them (e.g. print deliverables, best practices for posting on social media, brand guidelines, etc.)

• Participate with our design and product team in the planning of content delivery, and support the achievement of these goals by building up & following standard processes

• Stays abreast of current trends, principles, and professional standards for branding, layout, typography, color usage, photography,  illustration, and graphic design

Your profile - What we expect from you:

• Comfortable in taking initiative, with a proactive and driven mindset to work without constant supervision.

• At least 3 years of visual design experience, preferably with technology companies and/or consumer products

• A great portfolio with case studies that demonstrate your process 

• Strong understanding of the principles of graphic design and print and how to use them effectively and creatively (Color, Typography, Layout and Composition and Hierarchy)

• Strong understanding of data visualization and how to display information in a creative and visual context

• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint

• Strong in articulating and explaining your ideas to other designers, product managers, and other stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English are a must

• Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills

• Attention to visual detail

• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

• An active learner's mentality that is comfortable asking for help

Bonus if you have:

• Experience with infographic and data visualization

• Experience working on consumer and/or business energy products, Electric Vehicles, IoT, and smart home applications or devices

• Experience in motion graphics and video production
